“The Artist’s Experience” at The Society of Illustrators
Shawn is the co-curator of the “The Artist Experience: From Brotherman to Batman” exhibition at The Society of Illustrators in New York City. Created with culture journalist and author Karama Horne, this historic exhibit showcases some of the top African American artists of the comic book industry and shares insight into their creative processes. “The Artist’s Experience” runs from June 15th through October 29th.
