Shawn was invited to speak at the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University. During his talk, moderated by fellow artist Eric Battle, Shawn discussed the creative process behind creating “Judge Kim and the Kids’ Court”, his new children’s book series with Simon & Schuster, writing the “Red Hood” for DC Comics, illustrating the Eisner nominated “Promethee 13:13” and more.
