Shawn read his 2024 NAACP Image Award nominated children’s book “LIKE LAVA IN MY VEINS” (Nancy Paulsen Books/ Penguin Random House) at “The Celebration of Reading” event in Washington D.C. and gave a reading of “Judge Kim and The Kids’ Court” (Simon & Schuster) at Scrawl Books in Reston, VA.
