Judge Kim Children’s Law Center Award
Shawn received the Fern Schair award at The Children’s Law Center’s inaugural fundraising gala held at the New York State Bar Association in New York City.
The award honored Shawn co-creating “Judge Kim and The Kids’ Court” with fellow creators Milo Stone, Joseph Illidge and Christopher Jordan. Published by Simon & Schuster, the children’s book series teaches kids and their families about the law.
Simon & Schuster has generously donated copies of “Judge Kim and The Kids’ Court” to The Children’s Law Center of New York which provides much needed legal services to under-served children and young adults.
