Shawn was a featured presenter at the 2026 Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Conference in New York City.
Shawn discussed his career working in the comic book industry, creating movement on the page and his first kids book, “Like Lava in My Veins”, published by Nancy Rose Paulsen Books & Penguin Random House.
