Artist in Residency at The Langley School

Shawn was invited to participate in the Artist in Residency program at The Langley School in McLean, Virginia.

Shawn shared his approach to storytelling to elementary and eighth grade students, highlighting examples from his NAACP Image Award Nominated children’s book, “Like Lava In My Veins”, published by Nancy Paulsen Books & Penguin Random House and other projects.
